Remote Sr. Data AnalystPosition will be fully remote, or if selected candidate is in Cedar Rapids, IA, option to work from the officeJob Description: The Data Analyst is responsible for supporting enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives by transforming business requirements into data-driven solutions. The analyst performs data analysis, validation, testing, and requirements gathering activities.Key Responsibilities:Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate reporting and analytical requirementsTranslate business needs into technical data requirements and support solution design activitiesAnalyze and profile data to identify quality issues, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvementDevelop and execute data validation and testing procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting solutionsPerform data mapping, lineage analysis, and relationship modeling across multiple data sourcesSupport user acceptance testing (UAT) activities, including issue tracking, investigation, and resolution coordinationQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related fieldExperience working with relational databases and data warehousing conceptsProficiency in SQL for data analysis, validation, and troubleshootingExperience with Amazon Redshift or similar cloud-based data platformsExperience with Power BI or other business intelligence and visualization toolsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience supporting testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and data quality initiatives is preferredEverforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
