Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to provide specialized care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum. This role involves supporting a dynamic team in a fast-paced maternity unit.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, monitoring fetal and maternal well-being.
  
  
• 
  Circulate in the OR during cesarean sections, ensuring sterile technique and procedural support.
  
  
• 
  Assist with postpartum and couplet care to promote patient recovery and bonding.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of patient status, procedures, and interventions in the EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
  
  
• 
  Valid RN license and current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Proven ability to circulate in the OR during cesarean procedures.
  
  
• 
  Strong communication and teamwork skills to support a collaborative environment.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work rotating weekends and holiday shifts in a fast-paced setting.
