Responsibilities
1. Organizational Development & Culture
OD Strategy & Assessment: Analyze organizational structures, team dynamics, and business needs to identify areas for structural and cultural improvement.
Instructional Design & Training: Design and implement comprehensive professional development programs that support employee growth and align with company objectives. Apply structured frameworks (e.g., the ADDIE process) to ensure all training modules are systematically planned, developed, and deployed.
Program Evaluation: Measure the effectiveness, retention, and ROI of learning initiatives using multi-level evaluation frameworks (such as the Kirkpatrick Model) to ensure continuous improvement in talent development.
Culture Ambassador: Promote the company culture, ensuring People initiatives and activities are closely aligned with the organization's vision, mission, and values.
Employee Retention: Develop and implement employee retention strategies that foster engagement and loyalty, strategically designed to reduce turnover and maintain a highly productive workforce.
2. People Operations & Employee Lifecycle
Talent Acquisition: Oversee the entire talent acquisition process—from attraction to retention—to successfully fulfill business goals.
Onboarding Program: Ensure the onboarding process is effectively designed and executed, facilitating the smooth integration and cultural assimilation of new hires into the company.
Performance Evaluation Management: Conduct and manage semi-annual and annual performance evaluations, ensuring they are timely, effective in fostering career growth, and enhance overall organizational efficiency.
Employee Relations: Manage corrective actions and terminations, oversee benefits programs, and act as a trusted point of contact to address employee concerns.
Consultation & Leadership Alignment: Provide HR-related advice to management on performance management, employee relations, and talent development. Collaborate with leadership to revise and generate precise job descriptions.
Internship Program: Manage the company's internship program, from setting strategic objectives and recruiting interns to overseeing their training and assessing program success.
3. Facilities Management & Administration
Office Management: Oversee office administration and infrastructure to seamlessly support an optimal, safe, and engaging work environment.
Equipment and Maintenance: Proactively manage the maintenance, upgrading, and repair of workplace equipment and physical assets.
4. Compliance, Reporting & Communication
Policy Enforcement: Ensure strict compliance with organizational policies and local/federal legal standards in all HR practices.
Employee Records & Reporting: Keep comprehensive and compliant employee records in both physical and digital formats. Maintain up-to-date reports on various HR metrics, OD program outcomes, and operational statuses.
Internal Communication: Create clear, impactful communications to update the team on HR initiatives, cultural events, and company matters.
Candidate requirements
Education and experience:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or related areas.
A minimum of 2 years of comprehensive HR/OD experience, with a proven track record in organizational development and facilities management.
Comprehensive knowledge of local and federal employment regulations.
Experience in the creation and implementation of HR systems, OD programs, and processes relevant to a modern digital context.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Google Suite, Canvas and fluent understanding of a HRIS function (must be able to adapt to the system)
Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Attributes:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply evidence-based psychological and organizational frameworks to business challenges.
Excellent communication skills and comprehensive writing abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail paired with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and effective team management skills.
Ability to foster professional relationships with personnel at all levels, including clients, suppliers, and senior leadership.
Must maintain high levels of confidentiality in all strategic projects, OD assessments, and communications.
Working Conditions
People OD Specialist works in a fast paced environment with multiple demands due to our nature of business. There will be times that you will be required to work extra hours, holidays and or weekends as needed. All candidates that apply must agree upon this.
Most of our roles are office-based with a hybrid schedule. You may travel frequently for meetings, events or job related tasks and often sit for long hours, speak frequently and lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
