Site MEP Technical Coordinator - Electrical Focus

NOTE: This is a traveling position with 3 weeks onsite/1 week work from home - candidates can reside anywhere in the U.S. locations may include GA, MS, AZ, VA, WI, NV, etc pending current needs Hiring for multiple Electrical MEP Coordinator openings and levels of experience Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee the installation of electrical systems, ensuring alignment with design specifications and quality standards. Serve as the primary onsite point-of-contact for owner representatives, subcontractors, field service representatives, and commissioning agents. Facilitate issue resolution and maintain project schedule alignment through effective communication and collaboration. Drive commissioning readiness, including pre-functional checks and preparation for load-soak testing. Lead and maintain comprehensive field documentation using Procore, including punch lists, verification checklists, and safety walkdowns (LOTO/PPE). Monitor and report on project status, risks, and progress to project leadership and clients. Provide hands-on troubleshooting for electrical systems and basic mechanical/controls interfaces as needed. Escalate issues appropriately and ensure project milestones are met, especially when leadership is offsite. Qualifications 3–5 years of construction experience, with a focus on electrical systems preferred. Completion of 2 years of trade school, college, or equivalent journeyman experience. Proficiency in Procore and Adobe/PDF editing tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, specifications, and one-line diagrams. Working knowledge of ATS, UPS, and switchgear systems. Familiarity with commissioning processes and EPMS/SCADA concepts. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within North America as required. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Preferred: OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, and First Aid/CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire); Schneider PME certification is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr Air Comfort, Inc
