Overview A Software Project Manager is sought to lead and oversee the successful execution of software development projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and alignment with client requirements by planning, managing resources, coordinating teams, mitigating risks, and maintaining clear communication with the Chief Information Officer throughout the project lifecycle. This individual will report directly to the CIO. Key Responsibilities Project Planning: Define project scope, create detailed work plans, set timelines, and allocate resources effectively. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues. Progress Monitoring: Track project progress against established milestones, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions. Communication with Chief Information Officer Budget Management: Monitor project budget, identify cost variances, and implement necessary adjustments to stay within financial constraints. Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards by overseeing testing processes and addressing identified defects. Technical Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), project management tools, and relevant technologies. Qualifications Proven experience as a Project Manager, managing complex projects from inception to completion Expertise in project management tools (Jira, Asana, etc.) Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to frequently bend, lift and climb. Desired Skills Expertise in project management tools (Jira, Asana, etc.) Knowledge of DevOps practices Agile certification (PMI-ACP, CSM) #J-18808-Ljbffr
