Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Construction Workers to join our team in Glen Carbon, IL, 62034. As a Construction Worker, you will play a vital role in various construction projects, contributing to the building and maintenance of structures. Responsibilities- Assist in the construction and renovation of residential and commercial buildings.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients.
- Perform demolition tasks as needed, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Load and unload materials and equipment for construction sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively on-site.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in construction.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
