Job Description: Location: Massachusetts (regional travel required between multiple sites) Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Overview A leading organization in the life sciences and laboratory operations space is seeking an experienced Workplace Solutions Manager to oversee soft services operations across multiple office and laboratory facilities throughout Massachusetts. The Workplace Solutions Manager will oversee vendor performance, facility appearance, security coordination, special projects, and site support operations while leading two site coordinators and partnering closely with facilities leadership. Top Qualifications Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills 5+ years of management experience Proven ability to oversee multiple projects and tasks across several buildings/sites simultaneously Key Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day workplace and soft services operations across multiple laboratory and office facilities Conduct regular site visits, inspections, walkthroughs, and quality assurance reviews Oversee vendors including janitorial, waste management, recycling, and security providers Coordinate special cleaning projects, renovation cleanups, and other facility‑related initiatives Support security‑related operations including vendor coordination and emergency response support Supervise and develop two site coordinators through coaching, training, and performance management Maintain inspection documentation, corrective action plans, and compliance records Review vendor performance metrics, invoices, and service agreements Respond to operational incidents including sanitation events, leaks, and other facility issues Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency Partner cross‑functionally with facilities leadership, EHS, procurement, and site stakeholders Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered 5+ years of facilities, workplace services, or vendor management experience in a multi‑site environment Prior experience managing vendors and service providers Strong leadership and team management background Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly between Massachusetts sites Preferred Experience Experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, laboratory, healthcare, or regulated environments Familiarity with EHS standards and compliance practices Experience managing KPIs, inspections, and vendor performance metrics Background in special cleaning projects or contamination‑controlled environments Facilities or workplace management certifications are a plus Core Competencies Operational Excellence Leadership and Accountability Customer Service Focus Multi‑Site Coordination Vendor Management Communication and Collaboration Problem Solving and Critical Thinking Physical Requirements Ability to walk sites, climb stairs, and perform facility inspections Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
