Regional Workplace Services Manager -- SAHDC5815181

The Workplace Solutions Manager is responsible for overseeing soft services operations and ensuring operational excellence across multiple pharmaceutical lab and office facilities. This role manages janitorial services, security vendors, special cleaning projects, and site coordinators while ensuring facilities remain safe, compliant, and well-maintained. The position focuses on vendor performance management, quality assurance inspections, stakeholder coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives to support research and corporate operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily soft services operations across multiple lab and office facilities
- Conduct regular site walkthroughs, inspections, and facility assessments to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards are met
- Oversee vendor relationships for janitorial, waste management, recycling, security, and other facility support services
- Coordinate contracts, service schedules, statements of work (SOWs), and service-level agreements (SLAs)
- Lead special cleaning and facility support projects including deep cleaning, renovation clean-up, and sanitation coordination
- Partner with Soft Services Lead and site stakeholders to minimize operational disruptions during projects
- Support security-related initiatives including access control, screening processes, and emergency response coordination
- Supervise and mentor site coordinators, including performance management, training, coaching, and development
- Create and maintain inspection reports, compliance documentation, corrective action plans, and follow-up activities
- Monitor vendor KPIs, invoices, and service quality to ensure contract compliance and accurate billing
- Support incident response activities related to soft services, sanitation, leaks, and facility emergencies
- Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance workplace cleanliness, safety, service quality, and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical and laboratory environments
- Coordinate effectively with EHS, procurement, security teams, vendors, and site leadership
