Senior HR Business Partner

The Senior HR Business Partner serves as a colleague advocate, trusted Human Resources advisor, and embedded partner to leaders within Korn Ferry RPO Solution in North America. This role is positioned close to the business and translates business priorities into practical people solutions, operating at both strategic and operational levels to advance leadership effectiveness and support change management initiatives. Key Responsibilities Start each day with the mindset that our people are our most valuable asset. Act as a strategic and operational partner to business leaders—across a variety of levels—to align manager action with customer priorities. Coach and advise individual leaders and leadership teams on improving management abilities, addressing business challenges, and strengthening culture. Provide empathy, resources, and objectivity to resolve complex and sensitive employee relations matters, including investigations, escalations, performance cases, and terminations. Bring creative solutions to enhance performance, build a leadership bench, increase colleague engagement, and utilize Korn Ferry tools to ensure effectiveness across teams. Navigate complex situations such as colleague complaints, balancing multiple perspectives and competing priorities. Reporting analytics and generative AI fluency—using tools to create value in HR. Demonstrated development of junior HR colleagues. Professional Experience / Qualifications 5+ years in an HR Business Partner or Generalist role, including active experience in compensation philosophy, employee relations mitigation and resolution, and talent development strategies. Prior experience in TA & Recruiting required. Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations matters. Proven ability to coach and influence leaders across multiple levels. Experience partnering with business leaders in fast‑paced or evolving environments. Strong understanding of employment practices, compliance and risk considerations. Experience using data and insights from a variety of sources to inform decisions. Education Bachelor’s degree in Psychology plus an MBA or other Business degree. Coaching certification a plus.
