HR & Admin Officer

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years’ HR & Admin experience, preferably in logistics or service industry.
- Good knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and statutory compliance (NSSF, NHIF, PAYE).
- Strong skills in payroll, recruitment, and employee relations.
- Excellent communication, organization, and integrity. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly payroll, statutory deductions (PAYE, NSSF, NHIF, SDL, etc.), and ensure timely compliance with labour and tax regulations.
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes, including advertising vacancies, interviews, contracts, orientation, and maintaining accurate employee records.
- Coordinate training, staff welfare, performance appraisals, and employee relations, including handling grievances and disciplinary procedures.
- Administer employment contracts, renewals, terminations, exit interviews, and ensure proper management of terminal benefits.
- Maintain HR and administrative systems (including HRIS/biometric attendance), and prepare HR reports such as labour costs and workforce analysis.
- Handle company compliance and statutory requirements (licenses, permits, OSHA, NEMA, customs-related certifications, annual returns, etc.) and liaise with relevant government bodies.
- Support general office administration, logistics operations where needed, and represent the company in dealings with regulatory authorities and trade unions.
- Provide HR and administrative support to management and staff, ensuring smooth operations, effective communication, and a compliant work environment.
