Controller

Compensation: $110,000 - $135,000 annually, depending on experience Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Controller to join their team! This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting leader who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys building structure as a company continues to grow. The ideal candidate will step in, strengthen processes, and help guide the finance function through an exciting period of change, including a transition to a new ERP system. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Prepare accurate internal financial statements and reporting Reconcile bank accounts and line of credit accounts daily Strengthen internal controls and support compliance efforts Partner with leadership on budgeting and forecasting Support audits and coordinate with external advisors Improve accounting policies, procedures, and workflows Supervise and mentor accounting team members Analyze financial data to support business decisions Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience Prior leadership or supervisory experience Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with audits and external auditors Advanced Excel skills, including pivots and VLOOKUPs Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Nice to Have Skills & Experience: CPA certification preferred Experience with Sage Exposure to NetSuite Background in growing or transitioning organizations Process improvement experience Experience supporting strategic finance initiatives This opportunity includes a comprehensive and competitive benefits package—details will be shared during later stages of the hiring process.
