Our client, a leading organization in document management and storage solutions, is seeking a dedicated Record Center Specialist to join their team. As a Record Center Specialist, you will be an integral part of the operations supporting the efficient handling and organization of storage materials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate physical stamina, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Norfolk, VA

Pay Range: $17.00

Shift: Other (08:00 AM - 05:00 PM)

What's the Job?

• Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
• Manually lift, carry, and load storage boxes ranging from 10 to over 100 pounds.
• Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Track and organize inventory using proprietary computer systems.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper handling of materials.

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs. regularly without assistance.
• Physical stamina to kneel, squat, reach, and bend frequently throughout shifts.
• Attention to detail and ability to read labels and process orders accurately.
• Basic reading and writing skills in English.
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment.
