Job Opportunity: Locum Nurse Practitioner - Cardiothoracic Surgery

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular patients.
• Perform emergency surgeries on cardiothoracic and vascular patients.
• Consult and take referrals from the Emergency Department, Cath Lab, and other hospital providers.
• Assist in surgeries and manage vein harvesting during heart surgeries.
• Write prescriptions and coordinate patient care.
• Conduct daily rounds and interpret and order tests as needed.
• Engage with adult and geriatric patient populations.

Qualifications:

• Board certified in Vascular Surgery (Required)
• 5 years of experience in Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgery services (Required)
• Clean background with no malpractice or licensing issues (Required)

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Ohio nursing license or compact license (Required)
• Active ACLS certification (Required)
• Active DEA registration (Required)
