About The Job
Part time Lab Technician needs 3 years experience
Part time Lab Technician requires:
- 24 hours weekly, 3 days onsite
- 3 years experience in biological research with mammalian cell culture and immunohistochemistry
- Experience with ES cell/iPS cell culture and neural organoid culture is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, as well as stand, sit, reach, and kneel for laboratory organization and inventory control tasks
- Management skills in operating the laboratory smoothly by scheduling staff, tracking and monitoring equipment, replenishing supplies, and maintaining all security protocols and standards.
Part Time Lab Technician Duties
- Organizes the collected data and pictures.
- Assists research scientists to develop experimental protocols and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, such as safe handling of biohazard materials and toxic chemical substances; conducts laboratory inspections as necessary.
- Monitors, organizes, stocks, receives, tracks inventory, and orders supplies (chemicals, reagents, personal protective equipment, etc.).
