IT Support Lead Technician

Location: Bellevue, WA
Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite
Compensation: $25-$30/hour or so (negotiable based on experience)

SNI Technology is currently seeking an experienced IT Support Technician for an onsite contract-to-hire opportunity in Bellevue, WA. This role is ideal for a hands-on IT professional who enjoys leading day-to-day help desk operations while providing exceptional technical support across a multi-site environment.

The IT Support Lead Technician will work closely with the IT Support team, serving as the primary escalation point for technical issues while helping prioritize workloads, mentor technicians, and ensure high-quality service delivery. This position combines leadership responsibilities with direct end-user support in a fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Help Desk operations including ticket assignment, prioritization, and workload balancing
• Provide first- and second-level technical support via phone, ticketing systems, and in-person support
• Document, track, and monitor IT support requests to ensure timely resolution
• Support onboarding processes including user account setup, mailbox configuration, and application access
• Collaborate with IT team members to troubleshoot multi-site technical issues
• Assist with maintaining IT support procedures, knowledge base documentation, and training materials
• Coordinate hardware/software deployments, upgrades, and maintenance activities
• Manage IT inventory and asset tracking including computers, peripherals, and software licenses

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience supporting:
  • Windows Environments
  • Active Directory
  • Microsoft Azure
  • VOIP phone setup and configuration
• Proficiency with Windows 11, Office 365, and common business applications
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation abilities
• Previous experience mentoring or leading IT support team members
• Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard business hours for maintenance or project work
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Primarily office-based with occasional travel to offsite locations
• Ability to move between workstations, offices, and server/network rooms
• Extended periods of sitting, standing, and computer work
• Manual dexterity for handling hardware, peripherals, and technical equipment
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle as needed for job responsibilities
