Technician Field Level 2, Huntsville, AL (Secret/Ability to Obtain)

Technician responsibilities will be maintaining/troubleshooting wheeled and track vehicles, such as M270, M270A1, and HIMARS vehicles. Working on Military vehicles, MLRS, Bradley, M1A1, HUMVEE, HEMITT, etc. Bulldozers, front end loaders. Render technical guidance to resolve difficult and unusual maintenance problems. Provide an analysis of maintenance program and recommendations that may be beneficial. Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment. Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance. Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time. Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change. Maintains effective customer communications and relations. May provide onsite training of customer support personnel. ***Safety shoes are required for this position***

Must be US Citizen.

Active Secret Clearance or Ability to Obtain.

4/10 Work Week.

1st Shift.

$35.10/hr.

Duration: 9/14/2026-9/10/2027.

Non-Exempt.

Contract Position.

Worker will work Onsite Full Time.

Mandatory:

• Familiar with gasoline and diesel engines.
• Troubleshooting skills on vehicles.

Desired:

• Familiar with Redstone Arsenal, AL operations.
