Shipping and Receiving Forklift Operator

This role focuses on shipping and receiving operations in a warehouse environment, including operating forklifts, handling inventory, and performing data entry to ensure accurate and efficient movement of goods.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, move, and stack materials within the warehouse.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including preparing outgoing shipments and processing incoming deliveries.
• Complete inventory activities such as counting, tracking, and organizing stock.
• Conduct regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Perform basic data entry related to shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
• Follow warehouse procedures to maintain an organized, clean, and efficient work area.
• Work independently or collaboratively with a small team of 23 people to meet daily operational goals.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
• Experience with shipping and receiving processes.
• Ability to perform inventory tasks, including counting and tracking stock.
• Accuracy in conducting cycle counts and reconciling inventory.
• Basic data entry skills for recording shipping, receiving, and inventory information.
• Ability to work effectively alone or as part of a small team of 23 people.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of City of Industry, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
