Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Job Description

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and organizing inventory, packing and shipping orders, and maintaining accurate records. Your role will ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse, supporting inventory management and customer service efforts.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders efficiently and accurately.
• Ship orders following established guidelines.
• Replenish inventory stock as needed.
• Load and unload shipments with care.
• Conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Manage inventory records and verify invoices.
• Inspect shipments and resolve discrepancies.
• Utilize tape dispensers and tape guns for packaging tasks.

Essential Skills

• Experience in inventory management and shipping/receiving.
• Proficiency in order selection and packaging.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work as a picker/packer in a warehouse setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40–50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Typically, 1-2 or more years of related experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Fe Springs, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
