Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Genesis Counseling Center, your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for clients, focusing on their unique family dynamics and mental health needs.

• Providing therapy to couples, families, and individuals, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address various mental health issues.

• Facilitating sessions that may involve multiple family members to improve communication and resolve conflicts.

• Specializing in issues such as alcoholism, grief and loss, relationship conflicts, blended family dynamics, and the impacts of job-related stress.

• Documenting client progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly to ensure that care remains aligned with clients' evolving needs.

• Providing crisis intervention when necessary, navigating sensitive issues with compassion and professionalism.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating personal and relational challenges. Your practice will be informed by a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding family systems, enabling you to both engage with individuals and facilitate broader family therapy sessions. Your expertise will support clients dealing with:

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of California.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field, equipping you with the theoretical and practical knowledge needed for effective practice.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy in a clinical setting, with demonstrated success in helping clients achieve therapeutic goals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
