Test Technician III, 8th Shift - Weekend Evenings (Onsite)

Job Summary Date Posted: 2026-04-23 Location: 1007 E University Dr, Phoenix, AZ 85007 Role Type: Onsite Citizenship Requirement: U.S. citizenship required (only U.S. citizens authorized to access information under this program/contract) Security Clearance: None / Not Required Sign‑On Bonus: $3,000 for external candidates Job Responsibilities Follow blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams to ensure products meet specifications and tolerance levels. Perform functional testing using established test procedures and record all results accurately. Troubleshoot down to the component level. Monitor test completion, maintain test equipment, and document acceptance or failure outcomes. Operate hand tools, machine tools, and electronic/mechanical test equipment safely and effectively. Load and unload electronic units in test beds while adhering to quality and safety standards. Use SAP and computer‑based systems to follow work instructions and meet production schedules. Participate in continuous improvement (CORE), safety, and waste minimization initiatives. Collaborate across departments to resolve issues, train others as needed, and support audits and compliance activities. Serve on shift co‑ordination: 8th Shift (Fri‑Mon, 2:30pm – 1:00am); optional training on 1st or 2nd Shift for up to 3 months. Physical Demands Distinguish colors and meet vision requirements. Bend, stoop, reach, and turn as needed to place units in test stands, pick up totes, and place units on racks. Use hands for extended periods for testing and troubleshooting tasks. Stand for 2‑hour increments without an opportunity to sit. Lift up to 25 pounds. Transport product with or without product carts. Qualifications High‑school diploma (or equivalent, e.g., GED) with a minimum of 2years of relevant experience. Experience with component‑level troubleshooting. Experience with schematics or blueprints. Experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and/or spectrum analyzers. Preferred Qualifications Associate’s degree in Electronics or related field. Certification in Electronics. Experience in the aerospace industry. Experience with thermal tables, vibrational tables, and test rigs. 2–3years of relevant experience in a component‑level troubleshooting environment. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
