Linux Systems Engineer

Supporting and scaling data center and cloud infrastructure environments, the remote Linux Systems Engineer will manage critical infrastructure tooling across AWS and on-premises data centers while administering Linux-based systems and virtualization platforms. Key responsibilities Own and maintain infrastructure tooling for deploying, bootstrapping, and managing environments across AWS and data center platforms Administer and support Linux systems, virtualization platforms, storage infrastructure, and physical server environments Collaborate with teams to automate operational processes and improve platform scalability Required qualifications 4+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Systems Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration, including Ubuntu or other enterprise distributions Experience with VMware, NetApp storage solutions, and bare-metal server environments Familiarity with AWS infrastructure services and automation tools Working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments Virtual Vocations Inc
