Assistant General ManagerThis role is for the NEW TownePlace Suites Miramar Beach on Scenic Gulf Drive. The anticipated start date for the role is May 19, 2025. The Assistant General Manager will play a key role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel. The candidate must also have the following skills:Assist the General Manager in daily operationsSupervise and manage hotel staffEnsure high levels of customer satisfactionOversee the financial performance of the hotelImplement strategies to optimize hotel performanceThe ideal candidate must be high-energy and have the ability to think outside the boxAdditional responsibilities include support of the housekeeping operation, assistance with payroll and human resources, maintenance, and food and beverage operationsRequirements:Previous experience in hotel managementStrong Marriott backgroundStrong leadership and communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsAbility to work well under pressureMust be willing to work flexible schedules based on business levels including nights and weekends as neededPossess the ability to understand budgets, staffing models and cost controlsWe offer a dynamic work environment with avenues for professional and personal growth.
