Closets by Design is North America's leading provider of custom home storage solutions. We design, manufacture, and install custom closets, garages, home offices, pantries, laundry rooms, entertainment centers, and more.

 
As we continue to grow, we're looking for a detail-oriented Manufacturing Production Planner to join our production team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with technology, and ensuring every project is ready for manufacturing with accuracy and precision.
 
What You'll Do
Every project we build starts with an accurate production package. You'll review completed designs and translate them into manufacturing instructions that our production and installation teams rely on.

 
Responsibilities include:

• Review customer designs for accuracy and completeness 
• Create production cut lists to guide the manufacturing team 
• Ensure all materials, hardware, machining, and special-order components are included 
• Collaborate with designers, production staff, and installers to resolve questions before manufacturing begins 
• Identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency within the production process 
• Help ensure every project leaves the factory exactly as designed 

What We're Looking For

• Strong attention to detail 
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills 
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities 
• Comfortable learning new software and technology 
• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Drafting, CAD, manufacturing, or design experience is a plus—but we're willing to train the right candidate.
