Ops Support Business Partner

Summary • To support group leadership, coordinate all team projects and drive them to unilateral success by coordinating and communicating between key project owners. Working with leadership, you will be the organizer and operational support representative for the group.• The role will focus on all aspects of port operations, maintenance, warehousing & LCL operations, as well as Tropical Shipping NVOCCs.• Responsible for program/project management, administration, and relationship-building in this role and will work with cross-functional teams and working groups to help Tropical & NVOCCs achieve the level of operational efficiency, cooperation & collaboration that our front-line teams need to exceed our goals.• Will lead and ensure we have built processes, systems and administrative infrastructure that are crucial to building operational excellence and hitting goals. • Will own and drive tracking initiatives, managing seasonal planning processes, assisting with company-wide Operational service enhancement and constantly updating this as Tropical and the NVOCCs grow. • Responsible for coordinating and facilitating small group employee meetings, focused on improved internal communications initiatives, as well as defining objectives, purpose and company goals while constantly looking for ways to improve the operational cadence of the group Description• To support group leadership, coordinate all team projects and drive them to unilateral success by coordinating and communicating between key project owners.
