Subcontract Administrator INammo Perry is a center of excellence for the design, development and production of munitions and pyrotechnic products for the U.S. Department of Defense. Nammo employees working at the Florida site manufacture all types of 40mm low and high velocity ammunition; pyrotechnic marking; signaling and tactical illumination devices; battlefield effects training simulators; demolition charges; hand grenade fuzes; and other ammunition components. Additionally, they provide load, assemble, and pack (LAP) services for large caliber direct-fire ammunition.The Subcontract Administrator I is responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials and supplies from vendors, as well as monitoring the performance of Nammo Perry's supply chain. The Subcontract Administrator supports Nammo Perry's Focus Factory Team on all matters related to subcontract requirements.Unique Benefits Designed with Care:Monday - Thursday work week working 10-hour days401(K) with a 6% company match100% Employer-Paid Employee Only Medical Plan OptionEmployer Health Saving Account ContributionGenerous PTO and nine paid holidaysWhat You'll Do: Precision in ActionProcure direct materials and supplies, in accordance with established policies, regulations, technical requirements, and program schedules with minimal oversight.Serve as primary point of contact between Nammo Perry and its suppliers, ensuring effective and concise communications.Locate, evaluate, and present suppliers based upon price, quality, availability, reliability, warranty, technical support, and on time delivery records. Nammo Perry's Supplier Selection Board will make selection.Analyze price proposals, financial reports, price indexes, forecasts and trending to determine fair and reasonable price with insight from Contracts and Supply Chain Director.Write, negotiate, issue, evaluate, and monitor subcontracts and purchase orders to ensure suppliers comply with T&Cs of subcontract and purchase orders and to determine the need for changesEnsure flow down of all mandatory, applicable, and optional contract requirements and clauses to vendors and suppliers.
