Facilities Supervisor

Overview Join a dynamic team as a Facilities Supervisor where you'll lead custodial and sanitation efforts across an industrial facility. The role ensures high standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational compliance on a regular weekday schedule. This opportunity offers the chance to implement environmental sustainability plans, oversee key vendor relationships, and support a culture of continuous improvement. Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Responsibilities Collaborate with safety and operations teams to uphold compliance with OSHA, state and local codes, and fire safety regulations. Supervise sanitation and custodial staff, monitoring work quality and adherence to safety procedures. Maintain inventory and purchasing of cleaning supplies, and update SOPs as necessary for new materials. Lead the training and development of custodial staff to ensure consistent performance and compliance. Conduct and document regular inspections of the facility’s cleanliness and condition. Ensure both interior and exterior areas of the facility are properly maintained and presentable. Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating supply contracts under 'blanket order' concepts for cost efficiency. Support environmental sustainability by developing and executing plans to reduce the facility’s environmental impact. Ensure proper use and provision of PPE and maintain safety-first work practices. Serve as the liaison with operational stakeholders regarding facility projects, enhancements, and changes. Qualifications At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within an industrial environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, self-directed setting. Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills. Experience working with vendors and contractors in a facilities management capacity. Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance, safety, and continuous improvement. Capable of creating and managing operational documentation, including SOPs. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish, including reading and writing proficiency. Previous experience with industrial layout and facility design is a plus. Proficiency in implementing environmental sustainability practices is preferred. Energetic and dependable with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.
