About the Role:

Our team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our growing commercial construction team in Waukesha, WI. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in construction management while gaining hands-on experience across all phases of commercial projects.

The APM will support Project Managers and help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

Assist with day-to-day project management activities on commercial construction projects
Support the preparation, review, and tracking of submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and engineers
Maintain project schedules, logs, and reports
Assist with cost tracking, budget updates, and quantity takeoffs
Participate in project meetings and jobsite walks
Ensure compliance with safety standards, contract requirements, and company procedures
Help close out projects, including as-built documentation and warranties

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
1–4+ years of experience in commercial construction (internship or co-op experience welcomed)
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Ability to report out of an office in Waukesha/Brookfield area
