CT Technologist I

Job Description Summary The CT tech utilizes all CT resources to perform high quality CT examinations on entire patient population (neonate through geriatrics) for interpretation by a physician. Sign On Bonus $20K Sign on Bonus Responsibilities Perform CT examinations for all patient populations, preparing studies for interpretation by a physician. Utilize CT resources to deliver high quality imaging. Minimum Training and Education Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology with one year of radiologic experience. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) – Computed Tomography, and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association. Must produce very high‑quality special imaging with little supervision, function effectively in a team-oriented environment, and be familiar with age‑specific criteria. Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Computed Tomography. Licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, either from the American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Proactively maintains and renews ARRT, state license, BLS, PPD, respirator fit test, and POC training. Physical Requirements Ability to perform job functions while standing. Ability to fully use both hands/arms. Ability to lift and carry 15 lbs. unassisted. Ability to lift/lower objects 15 lbs. from/to floor from/to 36 inches unassisted. Ability to lift from 36 inches to overhead 15 lbs. Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes. Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand or at a distance. Ability to match or discriminate between colors. Ability to determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception. Ability to maintain hearing acuity, with correction. Ability to perform gross motor functions with frequent fine motor movements. Ability to work in a latex safe environment. Ability to maintain tactile sensory functions. Ability to maintain good olfactory sensory function. Ability to be qualified physically for respirator use, initially and as required.
