Medical SchedulerLocation: North HoustonPay: $17–$20/hour, based on experienceSchedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM CSTBenefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401k.About Our Client:Addison Group is partnering with a growing outpatient healthcare organization seeking a Medical Scheduler to join their centralized scheduling team. This role focuses on coordinating physical therapy appointments and managing workers' compensation referrals across an assigned region.Key Responsibilities:Schedule outpatient physical therapy appointments.Manage incoming patient referrals and ensure timely scheduling.Communicate with patients, clinics, referral sources, and insurance adjusters.Coordinate workers' compensation referrals and appointments.Obtain necessary patient demographics and scheduling information.Review appointments and referral documentation for accuracy.Work referrals with a strong sense of urgency, with a goal of scheduling patients within 48 hours.Maintain clear communication with leadership regarding scheduling concerns.Qualifications:Recent medical scheduling or experience required.Workers' compensation claims/referral experience strongly preferred.Experience managing referrals and coordinating appointments.Strong communication and customer service skills.Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new scheduling systems.Strong organization, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.Additional Details:100% onsiteCall center environmentMonday–Friday schedule - 10am-7pmOpen parking availableAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
