Sales Strategist

Job Profile Summary Support the implementation of the strategic team selling program. Work with Sales Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs), primarily in the mid-market space, on the delivery of individualized sales finals across multiple product lines, utilizing the expertise of presentation teams, product managers, and internal support groups. Job Description Responsibilities Manage related sales projects. Create comprehensive sales finals presentations and material Collaborate with the Sales RVPs on each opportunity and partner together in the preparation for sales finals and technology demonstrations. Identify and secure the designated presentation team based on the needs assessment of the prospect, with specific emphasis on key issues, special needs and tailored delivery of materials and services. Conduct internal meetings with the presentation team, product managers, and internal support groups (Pricing, RFP, system analysts, etc.) to focus necessary resources on the opportunity, including engagement of client management and new business services. Participate in due diligence site visit meetings to introduce digital participant and plan sponsor tools. Participate in sales final presentations with prospective prospects or advisors to present digital participant and plan sponsor tools. Conduct post finals follow-up with Sales RVPs and the presenters to identify current and future team selling needs. Collaborate with the RVP/Renewal Sales Director to understand competitive data to learn product set, available services, and uniqueness based on the market size. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent experience Five years of experience in the retirement services industry Experience creating presentations and marketing materials Knowledge of 401(k), 401(b), pooled plans, nonqualified, and defined benefit plans Knowledge of competitor products and services Proficient using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a variety of people at all levels within and outside the company Preferred Qualifications FINRA Series 6 or 7; Series 63 or 66 Experience with Salesforce.com Working Conditions Office of hybrid office/remote environment Moderate travel We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer Ascensus helps millions of people save for a better future.
