On Site Coordinator

Position Overview Pro Staff Hire is looking for a dependable, and hands-on Bilingual Onsite Staffing Coordinator to support one of our warehouse operations in the Columbus area. This is a people-focused position that combines recruiting, employee support, timekeeping, and onsite operations. You will spend part of your day working on a computer and communicating with employees, and part of your day walking the warehouse floor and staying connected with the operation. We are not looking for someone with a college degree or an extensive HR background. We are looking for someone who is reliable, comfortable working with people, able to use a computer, and willing to learn. What You’ll Do Recruit and help onboard employees for open warehouse positions. Communicate with applicants and employees by phone, text, and in person. Track employee attendance, call-offs, tardiness, and staffing needs. Review employee timekeeping and make sure hours and punch information are accurate for payroll. Follow up on missing or incorrect punches and timekeeping issues. Maintain basic employee and staffing records using computer systems and spreadsheets. Walk the warehouse floor regularly to check on employees and operations. Maintain a visible onsite presence and communicate with employees throughout the shift. Observe and report potential safety concerns. Help reinforce workplace rules, attendance expectations, and safety procedures. Assist employees with questions or concerns and escape issues when necessary. Communicate staffing, attendance, safety, and operational updates to management. Help resolve basic employee issues before they become larger problems. Support the client and Pro Staff Hire operations team with day-to-day onsite needs. What We’re Looking For Bilingual in English and Spanish is required. Comfortable speaking with employees and supervisors. Basic computer skills, including email and spreadsheets. Able to learn timekeeping, recruiting, and staffing software. Organized and able to keep track of multiple employees and tasks. Dependable and able to follow through on responsibilities. Comfortable working inside a warehouse environment and regularly walking the floor. Able to handle employee information professionally and confidentially. Willing to address problems instead of ignoring them. Previous recruiting, staffing, warehouse, customer service, supervisory, or administrative experience is helpful, but not required. Education A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. A college degree is not required. The Right Person for This Role You don’t need to know everything on your first day. We can teach our systems and processes. What matters most is that you can communicate, stay organized, work with people, use a computer, and take responsibility for getting things done. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people but doesn’t want to sit behind a desk all day.
