Senior Business Analyst

The Senior Business Analyst plays a critical role in driving data-informed decision-making across brand management, food service channels, retail performance, and marketing initiatives. This position partners cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to deliver actionable insights, optimize commercial strategies, and enhance overall business performance in a dynamic food and beverage environment. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Analyze business performance across brands, food service, and retail channels , identifying trends, risks, and growth opportunities. Partner with Marketing teams to evaluate campaign effectiveness, promotions, pricing strategies, and ROI . Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to track sales performance, market share, customer behavior, and product profitability . Support brand strategy through data analysis, consumer insights, and competitive benchmarking. Collaborate with Sales and Key Account teams to optimize customer strategies, assortment planning, and trade spend effectiveness . Provide insights into foodservice channel performance , including distributor analytics, menu trends, and customer segmentation. Lead forecasting, demand analysis, and scenario planning to support commercial and operational decisions. Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices in data analytics and reporting . Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, compelling, and business-focused manner. Ensure data integrity and alignment across systems (ERP, CRM, BI tools). Drive category and brand growth strategies using market and consumer data. Support new product launches with market analysis, pricing strategy, and performance tracking. Evaluate retail execution and shelf performance through syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen, IRI). Partner with Marketing on digital and traditional campaign analytics. Contribute to go-to-market strategies across retail and foodservice channels. Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field (master’s preferred). 5-8+ years of experience in business analytics, preferably within the food & beverage or CPG industry. Strong experience supporting brands, retail, and/or foodservice channels. Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Experience with syndicated data sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI/Circana) highly preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
