Accounts Receivable Coordinator

Job Title

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze debit balances on customer accounts to determine legitimacy.
• Validate customer contract pricing, billbacks, and or chargebacks to ensure accuracy.
• Collect and recover customer over-deductions.
• Process credit memos and apply them appropriately to customer accounts and related debit balances.
• Research and resolve shortages, pricing discrepancies, damages, and other account issues.
• Perform collection activities, including outbound collection calls as needed.
• Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts while participating in cross-training activities to support other functions, including Collections and Cash Applications.
• Complete additional projects and assignments as directed by the Supervisor.

• None.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred but not required.
• Two or more years of experience in business administration, accounting, finance, pricing, data analytics, or a related field.
• Experience in the food manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

SKILLS

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookup functions, and pivot tables. Microsoft Access experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, mathematical, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy while handling a high volume of detailed work.
• Ability to effectively balance competing priorities and respond to high-priority situations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while organizing, prioritizing, and completing tasks proactively.
• Strong proficiency with personal computers and business software applications, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers.
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
