LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with one of our valued clients in the Cincinnati area on an upcoming Accounts Payable opportunity. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional with prior accounts payable experience who is looking to join a stable and growing organization. This first shift position offers the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative accounting team while gaining long-term career growth potential.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation
• Review invoices for accuracy, approvals, coding, and supporting documentation
• Enter invoice information into the accounting system and maintain accurate records
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor inquiries
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
• Reconcile vendor statements and ensure outstanding items are addressed promptly
• Maintain vendor files and update vendor information as needed
• Assist with month-end closing activities and accounts payable reporting
• Work closely with internal departments to resolve billing and payment questions
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

Qualifications

• Previous accounts payable experience required
• Experience processing invoices in a fast-paced environment
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required
