Accounts Payable Specialist

UB Greensfelder LLP has an opening for a full‑time Accounts Payable Specialist as part of the Accounting team to work in the Cincinnati, Cleveland, or St. Louis office. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for reviewing and processing invoices related to firm charges, client advances, and employee reimbursements, scheduling ACH and check payments to vendors, and processing all foreign vendor invoice payments. This position requires meticulous data entry and a high level of accuracy, and involves frequent interaction with outside vendors and firm staff to resolve AP issues. Position Responsibilities Include: Set up vendor records in Aderant and input the correct 1099 classification. Accurately enter invoices into Aderant, either manually or through import. Administer the review, approval, export, and import of all Chrome River invoices and expenses. Administer the firm MasterCard program and perform monthly statement reconciliation through Chrome River. Prepare payment schedules for domestic vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and foreign vendor invoices. Void checks when requested and reissue when necessary. Research client and/or firm charges as requested, responding to vendors and staff in a timely fashion. Reconcile vendor accounts in the event of a payment misapplication. Reconcile the USPTO account on a monthly basis. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualified Applicants Will Have: Associate degree or equivalent. Related experience in business, accounting, or finance. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Minimum of two years of accounts payable experience. Law firm experience is preferred, but not required. Experience with Aderant, Elite, and/or Emburse Enterprise (Chrome River) systems is preferred, but not required.
