Project ManagerWe are currently representing a reputable commercial general contractor seeking a seasoned Project Manager with at least 5 years of experience overseeing DSA, Public Works, and Commercial projects. This position is ideal for a results-driven professional who can lead all phases of construction from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically proficient, and confident in managing contracts, schedules, budgets, and field operations across multiple stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage full project lifecycle including budgeting, procurement, scheduling, and executionOversee all construction phases for ground-up, modernization, and tenant improvement projects within the public and commercial sectorsCollaborate with DSA inspectors, architects, engineers, and public agency stakeholders to ensure compliance and timely approvalsNegotiate and administer subcontracts and material procurementMonitor project budgets, track job costs, and forecast project financialsManage project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are metSupervise internal staff, subcontractors, and field personnel to maintain quality, safety, and productivityPrepare and oversee documentation such as RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contractsConduct project meetings, maintain communication with clients, and resolve project challengesEnsure proper project closeout, punch list completion, and warranty trackingQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of project management experience with a general contractorProven background managing DSA, Public Works, or Commercial projectsStrong understanding of California building codes, DSA requirements, and public sector complianceProficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent leadership, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and competing prioritiesBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredCompensation + BenefitsCompetitive pay based on experiencePerformance-based bonusesFull medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off, holidays, and sick leaveCareer development and advancement opportunities
