Primary Duties

• Consults with division leadership in the assessment, development and implementation of effective recruiting and staffing strategies. Collaborates with management to build effective hiring and/or enhance the overall selection and hiring process.
• Leads recruiting initiatives and leverages networking with educational institutions, placement firms, community referral agencies, professional associations, and other sources in order to target and attract high-potential applicants. Coordinates with key stakeholders for on-campus and off-site recruitment programs to include job fairs, trade shows and networking events.
• Develops, streamlines, and enhances staffing systems and work processes. Designs and completes employment-related metrics, data queries, and division reports. Compiles data for ad-hoc information requests.
• Researches, locates and establishes relationships with organizations and recruiting agencies to expand candidate pool.
• Organizes and leads summer internships.
• Consults with management to assure consistent employment-related policy interpretation and application.
• Administers division employee and new hire relocations, interpreting policy and serving as liaison with relocation vendor.
• Keeps abreast of HR-related regulations and trends and makes recommendations to management accordingly.

Minimum Requirements

Educational/Experience Level: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field and five years of related experience in talent acquisition; or equivalent.

Communication Skills: Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers in order to obtain and/or provide explanations and/or information on technical and other complex concepts to individuals with little or no background in the subject under discussion.

Numeric Skills: Requires the ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages and simple statistical methods.

Computer Skills: Requires advanced knowledge of various software applications to create complex documents, reports and/or graphics.

Physical Demands: Requires occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting.

Work Conditions: Works in an office environment.
