Emergency Medicine Physician

• Schedule: Q4: Sporadic coverage, approximately 2-4 shifts per week. Q1 through July 2027: FTE coverage, 5 days on / 5 days off. Shift times: 7a-3p, 11a-8p, 3p-12a, 10p-7a. Nine-hour shifts with a one-hour overlap for transition. Minimum availability to be considered: 2-3 days per week.
• Job Setting: Emergency Room - fully staffed nursing. Average patient volume of 1-2 patients per hour. ICU and pediatric unit on site. ENT, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Cath Lab, and Tele Stroke available.
• Types of Cases: Moderate sedation, central lines, bedside ultrasound, nasotracheal intubation, thoracentesis, chest tube placement, rapid sequence intubation, minor laceration repairs, splinting, and more.
• Credentialing: 30 days

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Must be BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, OR have 5 years of full-time experience (4,000 hours) in Emergency Medicine with a volume of at least 15,000 patients annually, and must demonstrate evaluation and treatment of at least 1,000 cases in the Emergency Department within the last 2 years.
• Certifications: ACLS; ATLS; PALS
• Licensure: Active PA
