Our team-first approach means associates work directly with partners from day one, gaining hands-on deposition and trial experience most junior attorneys wait years for. This is an opportunity for an Attorney that wants more experience with depositions, direct partner access, and real client exposure. Why join us? Base salary $80k to $120k + bonus Medical, dental, and life insurance Employer-matched 401(k) plan Generous PTO, sick leave, and paid holidays Hybrid remote schedule Direct partner access and hands-on litigation experience from day one Represent Fortune 500 companies, major retail businesses, national transportation carriers, and insurance companies Job Details Defend Fortune 500 companies, major retail businesses, national transportation carriers, and insurance companies in litigation claims throughout New York State, in state and federal court, working directly alongside firm partners. Handle litigation defense matters from investigation through trial, including alternatives like mediation and arbitration Take and defend depositions Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses Support trucking and transportation matters including collision defense, cargo loss, and catastrophic injury claims Communicate directly with clients and carriers on case strategy Collaborate closely with partners on caseload strategy and trial preparation Looking for: New York Bar admission (required) 1+ years litigation/insurance defense experience Experience in any of the following areas welcomed: Insurance Defense General Liability Product Liability Transportation / Trucking Litigation Premises Liability Toxic Torts Motor Vehicle Accidents Construction Law Subrogation Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
