Accounts Receivable Manager

To optimize revenue cycle performance, the full-time salaried Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee billing, collections, and reimbursement processes for a client hospital, leading a team of A/R specialists in a remote environment. Key responsibilities: Manage day-to-day activities of A/R staff, ensuring efficient follow-up and performance tracking Conduct thorough reviews of patient accounts to ensure billing accuracy and implement strategies to improve collection rates Generate reports on team performance and mentor staff to meet key metrics and reduce denials Required qualifications: Minimum five years of hospital business office billing and collections experience, with at least two years in a managerial role Proficient understanding of medical office terminology and critical access hospital operations Strong analytical skills for identifying and resolving complex billing issues High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in medical billing or healthcare administration is preferred CPSI experience is a plus Virtual Vocations Inc
