Dining Room Runner-Giada-Steady Extra (The Vanderpump Hotel LV) Las Vegas, NV, United States (On-site) Job Summary The primary responsibility of the Food Runner is to expedite all food orders taken by the Bartenders and Cocktail Servers to the guest quickly. How You Will Create the Extraordinary Serve food in a timely manner. Ensure food order is correct before serving the guests. Monitor tables closely and be attentive to guests’ needs. Describe in detail the preparation methods and ingredients of all the menu items. Carry multiple dishes (up to 3 at one time) in one hand without tray service. Passionately informs guests about Gordon Ramsay, his history, and current business endeavors. Refresh flatware after each course or upon guest request. Maintain a clean and organized work area/station. Ensure work area/station is clean and always stocked. Ability to work from a standing position for extended periods of time. What You Will Need Must be 18 years of age or older. 6 months’ previous food server / running experience. Effective communication in English, both verbal and written form, in a professional manner. Neat and professional appearance. Interactions with customers, public, and co‑workers. Teamwork with other staff members. Additional Requirements Fast‑paced, high‑volume environment involving constant public. Carrying serving trays weighing up to 15 lbs. and may require lifting bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs.
