Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Unit Information

Location: Denver, CO

Unit: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Level IV

Number of Beds: 42

Staffing: Approximately 100 staff members including:

• 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC)
• 14-17 Registered Nurses (RNs)
• 1 Unit Coordinator

Patient Ratios: 1:1 and 2:1

Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Neonatal Notes Manager, Meditech

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Level IV NICU experience
• Active BLS, NRP, and PALS certification

Preferred Skills:

• Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience for floating
• Post-surgical care experience

Procedure Experience

Typical Procedures Performed:

• Intubation
• Central Line Placement
• PIV Insertion
• Therapeutic Hypothermia
• Lab Draws
• Sepsis Screening
• Gastric Tube Placement
• Circumcisions
• ROP Exams
