Work Environment\n

This full-time position allows for a fully remote work setting while maintaining the critical connection to our outpatient office based in Huntington, New York. As part of our dynamic team, you will collaborate with other mental health professionals, participate in clinical staff meetings, and engage in training opportunities. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and provide accurate diagnoses.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that meet the distinct needs of each client, adjusting strategies as necessary based on their progress.

• Document all clinical interactions meticulously, ensuring adherence to company policies regarding assessments, treatment plans, and case notes.
\n
• Maintain a caseload of at least 27 client visits per week to fulfill full-time status expectations.
\n
• Utilize a diverse range of creative therapeutic interventions tailored to client goals, constantly assessing the effectiveness of techniques employed.

• Collaborate effectively with case managers, medical personnel, and family members to coordinate holistic care for clients.
\n
• Engage actively in clinical staff meetings to share insights and improve service delivery.
\n
• Contribute to a positive team culture through open communication and support of fellow therapists.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with children, adolescents, and families facing a wide array of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. You will be part of a healthcare approach that prioritizes empathy, respect, and understanding, recognizing the importance of each client's unique situation.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• A current LMFT license in the state of New York (or equivalent) is essential for this role.
\n
• Experience in executing clinical documentation inclusive of assessments, treatment plans, and case notes is a necessity.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate thoughts clearly and effectively.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation in a timely manner.
\n
• Capability to establish and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients while modeling professional behavior.
\n
• A comfort level in engaging with a diverse clientele from various backgrounds.
\n
• Familiarity with Office 365 and experience with Electronic Health Record systems, preferably Valant.
\n
• Must pass a background check as part of the hiring process.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in an outpatient or remote therapy setting is considered a plus.

• Previous involvement in team-based or multidisciplinary mental health programs is desirable.

• Familiarity with telehealth provision, especially utilizing various telecommunication platforms, is preferred.

• Competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 105,000 annually.
