This location sells Blended Plumbing and HVAC.Role OverviewAs the Senior Branch Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a team to become the "Best Local Supply House" by aligning sales strategy with customer experience and fostering strong local relationships. You will ensure sales goals are met, drive customer satisfaction, develop associates, and maintain a safe, efficient work environment. Through effective leadership, you will cultivate a positive culture and steer the branch toward growth and market leadership.Position DetailsReports to the Senior Market Operations ManagerDirect oversight of 30 to 50 associatesMarket Opportunity of $75MResponsibilitiesManages relationships and partnerships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure coordination and outstanding service levelsAssigns, monitors, and sets objectives for key accounts and sales representativesAccompanies sales representatives on existing accounts and potential customer callsProvides leadership and input for pricing proposals and strategic plans for large customer accountsSupervises sales trends, market dynamics, product performance results, and customer preferencesCollaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products and services, and to provide sales supportReview operational records and reports to project sales and profitabilitySubmit short and long-term sales plans and prepare sales strategies using available marketing programs to reach designated targetsParticipate in leadership meetings and represent associate concerns, policies, and guidelines to the management teamQualifications5+ years of sales experience coupled with 5 years of management experience is requiredPrior knowledge of MRO business products and/or programsFamiliarity with markets and business units within assigned geography is a plusDesire to be a hard-working leader, mentor, and motivator of individuals and teamsAbility to analyze data, develop budgets, implement plans, and deliver effective presentationsExperience defining customer needs and providing solutionsConstructive and empathetic communication skills, both verbal and written, are a mustProficient Excel and PDF skillsOccasional overnightsAt Ferguson, we care for each other.
