Immediate need for a talented Surgical Technologist / Scrub Technologist / OR Tech. This is a 13 weeks contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Vail, CO (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: Weekly Gross Pay: $2,250.00 (subject to completion of scheduled hours) Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Days 4x8-hour shifts per week Expected Hours: 32 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Use principles of aseptic practice in varying situations
• Inspect sterile items for contamination before opening
• Maintain sterility while opening sterile items for procedure
• Anticipate the need for supplies and equipment
• Check supplies for outdates, restock operating room, and order supplies to maintain adequate inventory
• Pass instruments and other sterile supplies to the surgeon
• Help apply dressings and prepare/preserve specimens for testing
• Operate sterilizers and run tests to validate sterilization of surgical instruments

Key Requirements and Technology Experience

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech / OR Tech
• Current Surgical Technologist certification required (CST or equivalent)
• Current BLS certification required (AHA)
• Active Colorado state license required (must be currently active)
• Holiday coverage not required
• Locals are accepted no radius restriction
