The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. He/she works within organizational policies, demonstrating professional growth and accountability, while maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities among staff to ensure quality care.
