Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Travel RN for Med Surg unit at a busy hospital. Responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment on a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver direct patient care according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to emergency situations.
• Document clinical assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and modify care plans.
• Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers efficiently.
• Adhere to safety standards and maintain compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Utah.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Current BLS certification; NIH preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate charge nurse experience is a plus.
• Strong procedural skills including Foley insertion and central line dressing changes.
• Flexible and organized with excellent communication skills.
