As a paraprofessional, you’ll be working closely in a 1:1 setting with an early childhood student who requires attentive care for high medical needs. This is a full-time, contract opportunity that offers a rewarding environment where your skills and compassion are essential.

Key Qualifications:

• Paraprofessional experience in a school or similar setting
• Familiarity with providing support to students with medical complexities or disabilities
• Ability to follow individualized care plans and support adapted educational strategies
• Effective communication and collaboration with educators, therapists, and families
• Calm, patient demeanor and the ability to remain composed in dynamic situations
• Commitment to confidentiality and student safety
• Relevant certifications or training are a plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated, individualized assistance to an early childhood student throughout the school day
• Support medical, mobility, and personal care needs as prescribed by healthcare and education teams
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement education and health plans
• Assist with classroom integration, engagement, and safe participation in activities
• Document daily observations and communicate effectively with all team members
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment
