Schedule: 11:00AM - 7:30PM (Some Weekends Needed) Hourly Range: $24-26/hr (Based On Experience & Incentives) ALL INCLUSIVE (FT Only) Waive all benefits and receive an extra $3.00 an hour! Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Concierge serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff—ensuring every guest feels valued, supported, and cared for from the moment they arrive.Responsibilities for Concierge:Ensure room readiness for new admissionsGreet new admissions on arrival and ensure they are comfortableOrient new residents to the Unit and FacilityRespond to call lights and resident requests for assistanceArrange interpretation services as neededMake patient stay as comfortable as possibleProvide extra items and supplies, e.g., blankets, pillows, etc.Introduce Hotline and Guest Services Lines to the resident and familyRun the Ambassador ProgramWork with all relevant departments to communicate resident requests and/or concerns for follow-up and resolution.Ensure that resolution has been achievedAssist residents in connecting and communicating with their family and friendsAssist patients in scheduling appointments and transportationPromote Recreation activities and encourage/assist residents to attendConduct satisfaction surveys during residents' stay and post-dischargeOther assigned dutiesQualifications for Concierge:Previous experience in a customer service role required; experience in a LTC setting strongly preferred.Strong customer service orientation with a professional presence, positive attitude, and solution-focused mindset.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone etiquette.Ability to communicate effectively with residents, visitors, staff, and individuals at all levels of the organization.Experience managing multiple priorities and demands simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Ability to interact effectively with individuals of varying personalities and temperaments.Strong initiative and problem-solving skills with the ability to address and resolve immediate concerns appropriately.Ability to work independentlyStrong time management skillsStrong computer literacy skillsOur Core Values in Action:Passion – Creating a warm, welcoming experience for every resident and guest through genuine care and attentiveness.Respect – Treating all individuals with dignity, courtesy, and professionalism in every interaction.Excellence – Delivering exceptional front-line service that ensures smooth communication, positive impressions, and an outstanding overall experience.Benefits for Concierge:Tuition reimbursementEmployee referral bonusHealth, vision, and dental benefits401(k) with matchEmployee engagement and culture committeeCompany-sponsored life insuranceEmployee assistance program (EAP) resourcesJoin our team at Bay Harbor Post Acute and Healthcare Center, a 295-bed Sub-Acute, and Long-Term Care facility where compassion and quality care are at the heart of everything we do.
