Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to identify clients’ mental health concerns and goals, establishing a strong foundation for therapeutic work.

• Formulate and implement personalized treatment plans derived from assessment findings, integrating clients’ preferences and treatment objectives.

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.

• Regularly monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and case managers—to ensure comprehensive client care.

• Advocate for clients to secure necessary mental health services and community resources, empowering them to access the support they need.

• Uphold strict confidentiality and adhere to the ethical standards set forth by licensing boards and professional organizations in the field of mental health.

As an LMFT at Creating Life Connections Together, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families facing a range of challenges, particularly those related to mood disorders. Our clients seek support for anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions, and it is essential that you have the skills to help them navigate these complexities with care and professionalism.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, particularly with mood disorders.

• Proficient in evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT and DBT.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

• Demonstrated success in achieving positive outcomes for clients in the treatment of mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with the level of experience and caseload.
